Our Story
RoBait began as a solution to our own problem
We started Alternative Pest Control in 1986. Years later, we added exclusion services to help keep business steady through the slower winter months.
On an exclusion job, we first had to trap and remove the animals, then seal the structure to keep them from getting back in. If an animal would not enter a trap, the entire job could wait for days. Peanut butter and commercially available baits were messy and inconsistent, so we needed something that would work more quickly and reliably.
Because we had spent years raising orphaned squirrels, we already knew a great deal about their diet. We used that experience as the starting point for our own lure, refined RoBait over the years, and continued using it through decades of pest-control and wildlife-exclusion work. Faster trapping changed the workflow: we could remove the animals, move on to sealing sooner, and reduce repeat trap checks.

A tool we built for our own work
RoBait was made to solve a practical problem: attract rodents more quickly, stay usable longer, and reduce repeated empty-trap checks. After years of relying on it in our own pest-control and wildlife-exclusion work, we decided to make it available to other professionals and homeowners.
