Field Tested

Why we needed a better bait

We are pest-control people. We have served the metro Atlanta community for decades. RoBait began with a practical problem: on exclusion jobs, we had to trap and remove the animals before we could seal the house. If a squirrel or rat would not enter a trap, the entire job could wait for days.

The baits we were using were not attracting rodents quickly or consistently enough. That meant more empty-trap checks, more return visits, and slower relief for customers. Peanut butter and commercially available baits were messy and inconsistent for the work we were doing.

We spent years raising orphaned squirrels. They lived outdoors and roamed freely. In the process we learned a great deal about their diet. That knowledge became the foundation for RoBait. We developed and tested early formulas with the squirrels we had raised, then took the best-performing formula into our pest-control work.

The formula stood out immediately

The squirrels showed interest in most of the baits we offered, but RoBait produced the clearest response. They chose it over the competing test baits; in one early test, a squirrel even carried off the container.

From there, we began using RoBait for live trapping and on rodent glue boards. Sometimes traps worked before a technician left the property. On exclusion jobs, speed mattered: quicker catches meant we could move on to sealing sooner and reduce repeat visits.

Professional Experience

Made for the work we actually do

RoBait has been used in pest-control and wildlife-exclusion work for decades. It began as the lure we wanted for our own jobs, and we eventually decided to make it available to other professionals and homeowners.
